ALA’s Midwinter Virtual will be an online event with education programming, special author events, virtual exhibits, and more. A virtual space to learn, grow, and stay connected to the library community. 

Be a part of the Midwinter Virtual The Library Marketplace: Exhibitors, Stages & Resources. The Library Marketplace: Exhibitors, Stages & Resources will be a key component of Midwinter Virtual, with a dedicated day on Friday, January 22 for The Library Marketplace: Exhibitors, Stages & Resources. Each virtual exhibitor will have an exhibit listing in the Midwinter Virtual Event Website / Mobile App.

Virtual Exhibit Packages

Virtual Exhibit Booth - $700

The following assets will be included in the Virtual Exhibit Booth on the Midwinter Virtual The Library Marketplace: Exhibitors, Stages & Resources Platform:

  • Company Listing including company name, description, product/service categories
  • Company logo
  • Link to Company Website
  • “Request Information” button – generates an email back to your company to connect with attendees interested in your products and services
  • Lead Retrieval reporting 
    • Booth Impressions - reports on total clicks, total requests (from the "Request Information" button on your online virtual booth), booth views, asset views.
    • Attendee Summary Report - detailed Excel report on who viewed your booth, assets, and requested information.
    • Information Requests Report - detailed Excel report on who submitted the "Request Information" button on your virtual listing.
    • Note: this data is only reported on attendees who have "opted in" to share their contact information. Will not include attendees who have "opted out".
  • Opportunity to participate in Swag-a-palooza (The “Swag-a-palooza” button on your listing will link to a webpage developed by your company to promote a give-away or other special promotion.)
  • Option to be listed in a specialty pavilion (ie: Diversity, DVD/Video, Government Information, Graphic Novel/Gaming, International, Library and Information Science Education, Maker/3D Printing, Mobile App, Small Press/Product, University Press, Zine)
  • Title/Product Showcase – listing of up to 100 titles or products, includes one image and description each
  • 4 Complimentary Virtual Event Registrations

  • Option to list Contact Info for up to 4 sales reps

  • Ability to submit “off-hours” exhibitor events to be listed in the meeting schedule
  • Ability to participation in Exhibitor Session presentations – 30 minute on-demand, pre-recorded presentation in choice of exhibit hall stages format. All presentations $350 each. Proposed presentations will be reviewed to ensure appropriate for respective stage. Exhibitor responsible for captioning (open captioning)
  • Opportunity to advertise in “Cognotes, Focus on the Exhibits” eblast – (2) Pre-event issues, daily issue during event, (1) Post-event issue

Yoga / Meditation Room Sponsor - $2,500

  • Yoga / Meditation Room could be a virtual website the sponsor sets up where people can sit quietly with calming sounds, and also have links to online Yoga classes, or a scheduled Live Video (Zoom or Cadmium Video Chat) Yoga class. Author/book discussion is an option as well with an option to distribute book information or other giveaways i.e. pdfs.

Coffee Talk - $1,500 (2 available: Friday, Saturday (*SOLD*), Sunday (*SOLD*), Monday)

  • Morning Author Session – Greet attendees each morning with a sponsored author session. Prior to the opening session each day, that day’s sponsor will have the opportunity to have one of their authors have “coffee” with attendees and discuss their upcoming book and what inspired them to write.
